For most of the country, high school basketball try-outs and/or practices begin in a few weeks.
Do you qualify to be a member of your school’s basketball program?
Are you a person of high character?
Are you a good teammate?
Are you coachable?
Are you a continual learner?
Are you a leader?
Can you accept criticism and discipline?
Do you truly care about your school, your coaches, and your teammates?
Are you mentally tough?
Do you take care of your body?
Are you committed to being the absolute best player and person you can be?
Are you open to your coaches’ and teammates’ ideas?
Are you willing to change your actions/behavior for the betterment of your team?
If you answered “YES” to all of these questions, then you qualify to be a part of your school’s basketball program.
Representing your school as a student-athlete is an honor and privilege… not an inherent right. You have to qualify…
Train hard. Train smart.
